Alex Chesterman, the founder of Zoopla, will join industry leaders to discuss the rental market and the impact of upcoming reforms under the Renters’ Rights Act, ahead of its introduction on 1 May.
The inaugural Goodlord Leaders Forum will take place at The Brewery in London on 14 April, bringing together agency stakeholders to examine policy changes and their implications for the lettings sector.
Speakers will also include journalist Amol Rajan; Goodlord CEO William Reeve; Guy Horsington, deputy director for the private rented sector at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government; and Chris Norris of the National Residential Landlords Association.
The programme will cover regulatory changes, the use of AI in lettings, and practical steps for compliance as new legislation comes into force.
Reeve commented: “This is a momentous year for letting agents. With the Renter’s Rights Act implementation now just weeks away and wider economic pressures hitting businesses and renters, it’s crucial that letting leaders stay well-informed and nimble in order to weather the changes and come out stronger on the other side.
“The Goodlord Leaders Forum will provide an opportunity for leaders to get ahead whilst sharing insights and ideas with industry peers. We hope attendees leave with clarity on how best to capitalise on the upcoming changes – turning the turbulence into opportunities for growth and innovation.”
