Agent said to be ‘in jail’ after death car crash three months ago

A British estate agent is said to be in jail in Turkey after a car crash in July in which a driver was killed.

Sam Biker is a 27-year-old negotiator with Strutt & Parker in Notting Hill, London.

Biker could face up to three years in jail after allegedly being found four times over the drink drive limit.

He is being detained on suspicion of drink driving and vehicular homicide.

Biker himself broke his foot in the head-on crash on July 24.

While the Sun news story quotes Strutt & Parker, the firm told EYE that this was not an official comment. The firm said it would not be commenting.

If he was drunk at the time of the crash then good, I’m glad he’s behind bars and I hope he gets the maximum sentence that can be imposed by that county’s court. And it’s right that he shouldn’t be allowed to leave that country until after his trial and prison sentence (assuming that he is guilty of course). As for him being ‘captain sensible’, not really sure how that’s relevant. How many times do we hear of someone that has committed an appalling crime be described by friends as ‘a nice guy’ or a ‘loveable rogue’?

Sorry for the rant, but as someone who has lost a younger brother to a drink driver I have absolutely zero time or sympathy for anyone who gets behind the wheel whilst drunk or under the influence of drugs.
