Agents Giving Day is this Thursday, June 20, and firms are being urged to help beat last year’s haul of 6,500 foodbank donations.

The industry charity is again supporting anti-poverty charity The Trussell Trust and is encouraging agents and others working in the property sector to support their local foodbank and donate a food parcel or toiletries.

Your office can act as a collection point for any food donations in your area and you could also consider volunteering or fundraising for your local foodbank.

The Relocation Agent Network has already set out to collect 10,000 items with their #RANFoodbank10k campaign.

Michael Stoop, chairman of Agents Giving, said: “We are encouraging everyone to support their local foodbank this Agents Giving Day.

“It can help make such a difference to those living and going hungry in our local communities.”
