Agents Together announces over 800 mentorships

Agents Together, a foundation that aims to provide mentorship to individuals in the property industry, has announced that it has arranged 800 mentorships since its launch in June 2020, providing over 31,000 hours of support.

The foundation offers mentorship free of charge and has 400 volunteer mentors who provide support across the industry. The volunteer mentors originally started as mentees and have now chosen to help others by becoming mentors.

The CEO of Agents Together, Sarah Edmundson, said: “This support for the industry would not be possible if it wasn’t for the incredible work undertaken by the volunteer mentors and the dedication of our volunteer team of founder members, our relationship manager, Sam Offley, and our trustees and other supporters.

“I am humbled and grateful to each and every one of those 400 plus individuals.”

Sam Offley added that “making 800 mentorship matches is an incredible milestone and that being able to help and match like-minded people across the country is a wonderful programme to be part of”.

In addition to the mentorship program, Agents Together has launched a ] volume of resources on its website hub. The foundation has also undertaken research into mental health in the workplace, and several working groups of experts and agency representatives continue to develop and build toolkits to understand, raise awareness and educate on mental health.
