Agents that don’t embrace digital and social media risk being left behind

This week’s Agents MVMT podcast ‘Pass the Syrup’, presented by Ben Madden, features Matt Baldock of Charles David Casson, Neil Robinson of Neil Robinson Estate Agents and Alex Tan of Andrews.

The guests discuss social media and its place in the world of estate agency. Why are so few agents adopting digital marketing within their businesses, and what can agents do that will provide tangible results.

In this week’s social hand grenade, the guests review a particular post that gained a lot of traction online, rightly so? As always, the guests share their funny stories and call out the Waffle of the Week, and as usual, Sam Offley of Agents Together, and Chirs Watkins, make an appearance.

Agents that DO embrace digital and social media risk being ignored. Every hour of every day, 30,000 hours of video content is uploaded to YouTube. That’s the competition for attention.
Estate agents should care about a micro-targetted audience and build a platform that they own and control. An audience that anticipates hearing from them.

Then you have zero competition for attention.
