Agents are being urged to continue their support for foodbanks over the summer school holidays.
The Trussell Trust charity said almost 87,500 foodbank parcels were provided to children by foodbanks in its network last summer, a 20% increase on the same period the previous year.
Now property industry charity Agents Giving is encouraging agents to help their local foodbanks to support parents who find their income won’t stretch to cover the cost of extra meals or additional childcare during the holidays.
The Trussell Trust supports families by supplying holiday boost bags.
