Agent who keyed car cautioned by police

An agent who had just been ordered by a court to pay a recruitment agency, scraped his key down the side of the agency boss’s Audi TT.

Oliver McHugh, of Olivers Town, in Kentish Town, London, had been taken to court by James Richmond of JR Recruitment.

McHugh had refused to pay a fee for a worker because he said she took time off when her father was ill.

He was ordered to pay £3,600 to the recruitment agency by Edmonton County Court in north London.

After leaving the hearing, McHugh took out a key and scraped the top-of-the range grey Audi, causing £3,000 of damage.

The act was witnessed by Richmond who told the Ham and High newspaper: “I walked out of the court and saw him leaving, so I waited because I did not want to annoy him. The next minute I just saw him bend down and key the whole of my car.

“I chased him and he tried to run up the road but it was a dead-end.

“I managed to catch up with him and saw a police van so held him whilst calling them over. They arrested him at the scene on suspicion of criminal damage.”

McHugh was on bail for a month but later admitted causing criminal damage. He has been cautioned by police.

Wow looks like my comments were right in the last story regarding this chap.

What a truly horrible person. A member of staff has an ill father so you refuse to pay the recruitment fee, you are taken to court and made to pay it. Leaving the court the first thing you think of doing (and do) is vandalizing the car of your victim.

I would hope any competitor of Mr Oliver McHugh of Olivers Town is promoting this story in the hope sellers, landlords, tenants and purchasers are aware of his outrageous business practices.

No place for a person such as this in our industry, in fact should not be in any industry!

I hope his brother Chris McHugh can perhaps  knock some sense in to him. Sorry for the recruitment consultant.
