Agent tipped by stock exchange reports 67% growth in three years

The Acorn Group, which was last year identified by the London Stock Exchange as one of “1,000 companies to inspire Britain”, has reported further growth.

The firm, which operates in London and Kent, has quietly undergone 67% expansion in the last three years.

The accolade last year is really a list of growing companies that the London Stock Exchange believes have the potential to list.

Acorn has just opened a new branch in East Greenwich, branded as John Payne, and is about to open a new Acorn office in Camberwell.

These two new offices will bring the overall count of high street branches within the group to 25.

The group has also expanded all its operating divisions over the same period including Commercial, New Homes, Land & Development, Investment, and Financial Services, resulting in a doubling of group revenue over the same period.

CEO Rob Sargent said: “We believe in operating the best brands, with the best staff, in the best area.

“Our expansion is a natural progression into new areas where there is demand for a premium high-quality estate agency service, whether it’s through acquisition or organic growth.

“Our focus on quality of service has always been, and will continue to be, the driving force behind our whole operation.”

The firm, which also operates the Langford Russell brand, is a supporter of OnTheMarket.
