Agent Rainmaker has raised an extraordinary sum at a single event for a charity that will help fulfil the dreams of 42 seriously or terminally ill children.

Agent Rainmaker Live, held recently in London, brought together hundreds of letting agents from across the UK to celebrate business growth while raising an impressive £102,250 through its charity auction.
It is believed to be the largest amount ever raised by one company, at one event, for Promise Dreams – a charity supporting children and families facing severe illness, offering everything from financial assistance for once-in-a-lifetime experiences to help with living arrangements and essential equipment.
Agent Rainmaker has supported the charity for many years, raising more than £300,000 over the past eight years. Agent Rainmaker Live 2023 generated £40,122, last year’s event raised £74,000, and this year’s total surpasses that by a further £28,000.
“We’re in utter disbelief at the amount raised,” said Nikki Yeomans, manager of Promise Dreams. “Asking people to donate when times are tough is never easy, yet the generosity of everyone at Agent Rainmaker continues to amaze us. The funds will make such a difference to the lives of 42 children and their families currently waiting for their wishes to come true.
“A huge and heartfelt thank you to Sally and the Agent Rainmaker team for once again putting on an incredible event and choosing us as their charity of choice. Their fundraising makes up around a third of our total donations, and over the last eight years has created lasting memories for families.”
Although based in Wolverhampton, the charity supports children from across the UK. Current wish recipients include Rylan, who hopes for a superhero-themed birthday party with indoor fireworks; Kayden, who dreams of taking his first flight, which the charity is arranging between London and Newcastle; and Freya, who wishes to meet the princesses at Disney on Ice.
Sally Lawson, Founder of Agent Rainmaker, said: “Our events are designed to help letting agency owners build better, more efficient and more profitable businesses.
“That the agents in the room raised over £100,000 this year — compared with £74,000 last year and £40,000 the year before — is astounding, and shows how much we can achieve when we work together. A huge thank you to Nikki and Vickie for their tireless efforts in supporting these incredible children and their families.”
