Agent, 21, could be on course to win England’s most gorgeous man title

He is hoping his good looks and carefully toned physique will win him the title of hottest hunk in his county – and possibly the title of Mr England.

But estate agent Mark Young, 21, is so far the only entrant in the Mr Hampshire competition, which takes place next month and which opened up to men for the first time this year.

Entries close on February 21 and Mark is keen for some healthy competition.

He said: “I can’t believe other people haven’t applied – it’s not just a beauty pageant, there are so many aspects to it like helping people by raising money for charity.

“For any guys who think they could be a model it’s a great opportunity to pursue that.”

The organisers are equally baffled why more men haven’t entered the competition.

However, it is just possible that they think they might not stand much of a chance.

Clearly this young man is not working hard enough if he has that amount of time to spend on his physique! However, that's not quite an unbiased view from a fella twice his age! Sometimes you can be too fit?…. I'm sure many will agree that this is our excuse… sorry… mantra!

Can you imagine the grief I would cop if I organised aq “Hottest Babe” competition? Every feminist this side of the Severn Bridge would be on my case. I thought we had moved on. Welcome to to the 1970s again.
