Agency acquired by founder four years after launch

Toby Cockcroft DHP Croft

Upmarket property agency DHP Croft, with offices in York and Leeds, has been acquired outright by one of its founding partners, Toby Cockcroft.

Launched in 2010 by Cockcroft and the partners of Leeds-based property consultancy Dove Haigh Phillips, DHP Croft has grown its reputation for selling some of Yorkshire’s most exclusive homes.

Cockcroft, pictured, said: “I am very grateful for the years working together with the other DHP partners, whose input was invaluable in establishing DHP Croft.

“We will continue to work together on projects for clients and I am looking forward to moving the business into new markets, including commercial property and land agency.”

The agent is currently marketing Grantley Hall near Harrogate at £5.95m as well as several other ‘trophy’ properties across Yorkshire. The firm’s typical selling price is £1m.

The firm will rebrand as Croft Residential over the coming months.
