Advertising watchdog settles cases against four property firms

Four property firms reported to the Advertising Standards Authority will see no further action after the cases were informally resolved.

That means that the advertiser has agreed to withdraw or amend their claims.

The four included agents Christopher Russell, where the complainant believed the company’s website claims for how long it had been running were misleading.

With Find Your Place, the complainant believed the company website was misleading for not containing all non-optional fees.

A third complaint was about a website, Rose-Sergeant. The complainant believed a property ad was misleading as they were aware it was already let.

A fourth complaint was about fast-buy firm Yellow Springbok, where the complainant believed the claims on a sponsored search and website were misleading.
