A Kent-based estate agency has celebrated its 100th year in business by hosting a party for staff members.
Wards, now part of Arun Estates, has been part of the local community since launching in Gillingham in 1922.
Over the years, the company, which is based in over 40 locations, has expanded to offer its customers an extensive range of services, from sales and lettings to new homes and an in-house mortgage advisory service.
The estate agency, which has donated more than £12m to charities across Kent over the past 30 years, recently partnered with The Children’s Trust to raise vital funds to support children with brain injury in the UK.
Aldo Sotgiu, group managing director at Wards, said: “It is with great pride that we celebrate the centenary year of Wards. Supporting such a wonderful community for so many years, we’ve grown with the times to give our customers the best experience possible.”
“In the past few years alone, we’ve seen a lot of new property trends, and so many impressive records that have been broken,” he continued. “We’d stayed constant by our communities side in times of need, supporting, advising and helping wherever and whenever we can.”
“After 100 years of helping people move forwards on their life’s journey, we are ready for our future and whatever comes our way in the market,” he added.
