National Apprenticeship Week 2021 is an annual celebration of apprenticeships. Running from the 8 – 14 February.
The annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships, taking place across England, kicks-off from today and is designed to showcase how apprenticeships have helped employers and people of all ages and backgrounds.
Employers are encouraged to promote the great work of their apprentices, whilst highlighting the many benefits apprenticeships bring to their business, and so do let us know the work being done at your firm to promote apprenticeships and their impact.
Connells Group, which has apprenticeships currently live across its network, is among the property firms supporting National Apprenticeship Week.
Since its launch in January 2013, the Connells Group Apprenticeship Scheme has given people the opportunity to ‘earn while they learn’ and develop vital skills across a multitude of professional disciplines including: residential sales, lettings, mortgage services, business administration, customer service, HR, payroll, IT, recruitment and survey & valuation.
The Group also offers an apprenticeship programme for existing members of staff to upskill, focusing on leadership and management development or customer service courses.
Connells Group says that it is committed to hiring a number of apprentices this year across their estate agency network and support office locations.
The Group says that it also plans to launch a drive to upskill its existing team members by utilising the apprentice levy to train people in areas such as leadership, coaching and business administration.
Matthew Creswell, Connells Group head of recruitment, said: “We feel that by offering a wide range of exciting apprentice opportunities this is a real win, win situation. As a business it is fantastic that during such challenging times we can offer new opportunities to job seekers and we get enthusiastic, committed individuals who are much more likely to give their all to be successful and build a long-term career with us.
“Apprentices also get the benefits of a structured learning environment whilst working for the UK’s leading estate agency business. Please keep an eye on our careers site for more information and job opportunities as they arise”
Apprentice scheme is very good. It takes a while to find the right one but its a win/win for all parties.
