Buying agency Black Brick launches Chinese website

Property buying agency Black Brick has launched a Chinese website in a bid to serve rich buyers wanting to invest in London.

The agent, which operates in London and the home counties, has also recruited a Mandarin speaker.

The website went live yesterday at the start of the Chinese New Year.

It follows recent research commissioned by international law firm Pinsent Masons which estimates that over £36bn of investment will flow from China into UK real estate between now and 2025.

Much of this investment will be in the residential market with many Chinese buyers looking to invest their assets in the London property market and others wanting to house their children while they study at some of the top schools in the country.

Camilla Dell, managing partner of Black Brick, said: “This year, our Chinese clients are expected to be the biggest overseas spenders in the UK.

“As such, along with the recent appointment of Grace Ding, a fluent Mandarin speaker with experience working in China, we are launching our website in order to cater for the needs of these clients.”

Black Brick is also on wechat, a Chinese version of whatsapp which allows instant chat through both text and voice recording as well as sharing news and updates.

The website, which is best appreciated if you know Mandarin, is here
