The Agents Together Foundation has gained the support of ESTAS, the customer review and awards platform designed for agents, conveyancers, mortgage advisors and suppliers.

Agents Together Foundation, led by Sarah Edmundson, and funded by Michael Bruce, launched five months ago with a view to helping estate agents attain a healthy mind and a healthy business.

Their aim is get the industry to take seriously the mental wellbeing of its people, and that mental health is something as widely promoted and understood as physical health.

Agents Together Foundation’s recent Mental Health survey, the results of which will be published shortly, has even further demonstrated to the team that they must raise awareness and education of mental health in estate agency, according to Edmundson.

She said: “At Agents Together we are in the unique position that we are a foundation, thanks to Michael’s generosity, we do not need to raise money but we do need help to get our message and initiatives out there to as many people as possible who might benefit.

“When I discussed this with Simon and Sarah [Brown] they immediately offered their help and assistance – which I think is true testament to ESTAS brand, culture and passion for the industry.”

This alliance between ESTAS and Agents Together will mean that all ESTAS customers will easily be able to access the initiatives offered by the foundation, such as the Mentorship Scheme, Educational Webinars and an upcoming “Virtual Mental Health Roadshow” direct from their ESTAS customer review dashboard.

ESTAS will be sharing the important support and education pieces produced by Agents Together and will help the foundation to promote new initiatives throughout the year.

Agents will also be able to give feedback on Agents Together using the ESTAS innovative review service.

ESTAS founder, Simon Brown, commented: “We understand mental health is a huge issue which is why we have already committed to raising awareness through the Mindstep Foundation. Young people in particular are affected so when Sarah approached us to get involved with Agents Together the synergy was obvious.
