South Yorkshire agent Redbrik has completed the acquisition of fellow Sheffield operation Preston Baker’s lettings portfolio and sales stock.

Redbrik, which has an office in Chesterfield and four branches in Sheffield, completed the deal to purchase Preston Baker’s South Yorkshire operation “in just a few weeks”.

Preston Baker will now focus its efforts on its core North and West Yorkshire territory.

Redbrik managing director Mark Ross said:

“They operate a fantastic estate agency, and we are delighted that they came exclusively to Redbrik when looking to sell their Sheffield business.

“We completed the deal in just a few weeks, which is a testament to the hard work and goodwill on both sides.

“The agreement ensures both parties will work collaboratively to ensure the handover runs smoothly for clients and the two businesses.

“It’s great that such a good deal, with positive outcomes for all parties, can arise from this challenging period.”

Jen Hitchman, Redbrik’s area manager for lettings, will oversee the Preston Baker rental portfolio handover, while director David Cooper will be looking after the transfer of the agent’s existing sales stock.
