Welcome to the final edition of my “Landlords Barometer” for 2019.

As the year draws to a close, I thought it might be interesting to look at the threads and videos that gained the most views over the past 12 months: 2019 was a special year for Property Tribes.

It marked the 10th anniversary of the site and also the year our YouTube channel passed one million views and 10K subscribers. We also had a video go “viral” and top 100K views – see below – and launched our Smart Landlord Guide 2019 .

We’ve analysed the back end data and have come up with the following list of topics that engaged the PT community and the private rented sector.

The top two reflect what amounts to a sad state of affairs in certain quarters of the industry and hopefully 2020 will see some form of regulation of the “wealth creation” sector and that something positive can come out of these events:
