Land and property auctioneer Clive Emson Auctioneers achieved £14.2m in its final four sales of 2014.
The southern-based company marked up the figure, which it is calling “phenomenal”, from 125 lots.
It capped a bumper 25th anniversary year for the family-run firm, bringing total sales to more than £125m for 2014.
A total of 1,137 lots were catalogued during the year, which also recorded an impressive 80% success in sales and £750,000 in commission paid to local estate agents.
The firm currently covers a geographic area from Kent to Cornwall, but in March it will be expanding to Essex with an inaugural auction in Chelmsford.
