Andrews Property Group is celebrating raising almost £20,000 after a year of fundraising for charity partner Carers Worldwide.
The agent has been working with the charity, which supports carers in low and middle-income countries, since 2012.
The entire 500-strong staff hosted events across their network of 50 branches and head offices including two days of dedicated fundraising on Halloween in 2018 and Valentine’s Day 2019.
Two members of the Andrews team, Louise McTighe and Daryl Hill, also completed the London Marathon in April and raised £2,400.
Andrews Property Group chief executive David Westgate completed the 100-mile cycle, Ride London, in August.
Over the year these fundraising efforts have raised a total of £19,275.
Westgate said: “We’ve been working with Carers Worldwide since 2012, when they were set up by Anil Patil and his team with the funding and support of Andrews Charitable Trust.
“We are honoured to be Carers Worldwide’s first corporate partnership and pleased that everyone in the company has got behind this partnership with such enthusiasm.
“Each and every individual in the company has helped to raise money for Carers Worldwide.”
Anil Patil, founder and executive director of Carers Worldwide, added: “Our partnership with Andrews Property Group has been our first experience of a corporate partnership and it has been a wonderful year.
“The amount raised by the staff will make a significant difference to the lives of family carers in India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
“It has been an absolute pleasure to work with such a compassionate and caring company and we look forward to many more such fruitful partnerships in the future.”
