Over 100 people have already signed up to this year’s Do It For Dom event – and more will be welcome.
Do It For Dom raises money for research into Huntingdon’s Disease – the cruel illness diagnosed in popular estate agent Dominic Subbiani two years ago.
The disease is progressive and fatal, with no cure, and is passed along the generations. The Huntingdon’s Disease Association is immensely grateful for every penny raised.
The likeable Dom runs an agency called FBM in Haverfordwest, which is part of Fine & Country, the Guild, the Relocation Agent Network, plus NAEA and ARLA. He has many friends throughout the industry.
Last year, he took part – along with 48 others – in a tough, rain-soaked climb up Snowdon, which raised over £70,000.
This year Dom is hoping to take part again in the new Do It For Dom event.
This is a two-day canoeing marathon along the beautiful River Wye, complete with an evening mini-festival in Ross-on-Wye, where the likes of Simon Whale will be letting their hair down after (we’d guess) several near capsizes.
There will be a barbecue, music, stand-up comedy, a charity auction and games to have fun and help raise more funds.
The event is on September 4 and 5, and is shaping up to be one of the largest industry events of its kind yet held.

Amazing job Suzanna for organising this second DIFD. Bigger than last year and the largest gathering ever for agents coming together for a physical charity event X

While you in Ross take a look around places like Symonds Yat & Hoarwithy or walk up The Kymin, Monmouth.
I moved down here 20 years ago from London. Love it.

Huge respect to all taking part in this great endeavour.
May I enquire if this going to involve bows and arrows, banjos, or squealing piggies? Asking for a friend.
