LSL, parent company of estate agency brands including Your Move, Reeds Rains, Marsh & Parsons and Davis Tate, has announced a number of changes.
As from January 1, its former chief executive Simon Embley becomes the group’s non-executive chairman. Embley led the group from 2000 until standing down in September 2013 when he became deputy chairman.
At the same time Ian Crabb was appointed as group chief executive officer.
Roger Matthews, who has been the non-executive chairman since LSL floated on the stock exchange in 2006, will retire from the LSL board on December 31.
Bill Shannon, who has been a non-executive director on the LSL board since January 2014, is appointed non-executive deputy chairman.
LSL has also announced Chris Campbell as its new Your Move regional managing director for Scotland, following the retirement of her predecessor Gordon Fowlis.
Campbell, a grandmother of five, has 30 years’ experience of estate agency and has been promoted from area sales director at Your Move, covering seven branches. In her new role, she will be responsible for 24 Your Move branches across Scotland.
Your Move has also appointed Paul Jardine as its new regional managing director for the south-west.
He succeeds Bryan Mansell, who has become regional managing director for London.
Jardine has 25 years’ experience in the property industry, with stints at LSL, Countrywide and Letsure. For the last five years he has been managing director of LSL’s receivership practice, Templeton.
In his new role, he will cover a region stretching from Penzance to Winchester.
Mansell became regional managing director for London in succession to Sam Mitchell, who is now UK CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty.
