Peter Wetherell, chief executive of Mayfair estate agent Wetherell, has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Lonres board.
He takes up the position with immediate effect.
As part of the role, he will also sit on the board of Central London Estate Agents, who are a stakeholder in the privately-owned Lonres business.
Wetherell joins non-executive directors Lucy Morton, senior partner of WA Ellis, and Michael Hodgson, chairman of Douglas & Gordon.
William Carrington, chairman, Anthony Payne, managing director, and recently appointed James Golfar, executive director, complete the Lonres board.
Wetherell said: “Good data and reliable interpretation in a swift timeframe is what any industry relies upon, and luckily for the prime central London residential market we have Lonres.
“Lonres is the trusted property data source used by leading estate agents, surveyors, valuers and buying agents across prime central London.
“It not only provides them with real-time granular data, essential for understanding the markets in which they operate, but importantly it enables them to give the best possible informed advice to their clients.
“It’s a great company and I’m delighted to be a part of it.”
Lonres has redefined the way London’s property professionals do business. Established in 2000, the Lonres platform enables commission splits on properties for sale and rent and provides subscribers with access to the most up-to-date prime central London market information available.
There are currently over 800 subscribing offices and 6,000 Lonres users across London.
