Relaunched UK Proptech Association offers new opportunities to wider property industry

The UK PropTech Association has relaunched this week with a range of new membership options for the wider property industry.

The aim is to promote greater engagement between proptech and property sector companies to encourage greater levels of collaboration and innovation.

The new membership options include both free and paid-for options designed to encourage more businesses to work more closely with proptech businesses and learn more about the opportunities the sector provides.

UK PropTech Association chairman Matt Partridge said: “There are huge potential opportunities for both proptechs and the wider property industry through collaboration and digital transformation.

“Our new strategy and membership packages are designed to create a connected community, leverage the knowledge and skills of our membership and help to open up mutually beneficial partnerships.

“The new packages make it easy for companies to join and we believe every business will benefit from an engaged and active UKPA community.

“As a not-for-profit, all of the membership money will go back into helping to support the UK property technology sector and to deliver increased value to our paying members.”

There are two new membership packages for property industry businesses.

Free membership provides a listing on the members’ directory, regular news updates, and the opportunity to attend 24+ events per year as well as access to the members’ portal.

Gold membership (£5,000 pa) provides website and newsletter advertising options, sponsorship of three events per year, free tickets to events and awards, and an opportunity to collaborate on pitch events.

Proptech members can also choose from two membership packages.

Free membership gives a listing on the website, news updates and opportunity to join selected events and trade missions.

Gold membership (from £999 pa) provides a wider range of benefits including 24+ events in the year, support with profile raising and PR, discounts on professional services and third-party events and access to investor contacts.

A new website with members’ portal is set to launch later in the month.

The association was originally founded by Eddie Holmes who has stepped down to pursue other business opportunities, and James Dearsley who remains on the board.
