Are you planning a fundraising event this year? Then you may not know that a grant from Agents Giving can help towards the cost of setting it up, so that more of the money you raise goes to your chosen good cause.
Applying for a grant is simple and requests should be made in advance of your fundraising event as Agents Giving will also help you with the promotion.
Many agents and their supported charities have already benefited from funding and the Agents Giving grant fund has helped the following agents with their forthcoming charity events:
Hammond Property Services in Nottinghamshire are marking their 30th year in business, and planning a number of events aimed at raising £5,000 to train a guide dog.
Their next event is the annual quiz night in Bingham which Agents Giving are supporting with a grant towards the evening’s costs.
Pygott & Crone is raising money for the St Barnabas Charity in Lincolnshire which delivers free and compassionate end of life care and support to over 10,500 adults and their families.
The firm is supporting the Lincolnshire 10k marathon, with 64 runners signed up so far from its nine branches.
Agents Giving helped towards their entry fees and tee-shirts, so more of the money they raise will go direct to this wonderful cause.
Oliver & Akers Estate Agents in St Albans are organising their fifth annual charity golf day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care, and have invited 120 golfers to enjoy a day of golf, dinner and charity auction.
They are hoping to beat the £7,000 raised at the same event last year, and Agents Giving have supported them with a grant to help with costs.
Michael Stoop, chairman of Agents Giving, said: “The Agents Giving grant fund is actively helping agents with their event set-up costs.
“Last year we helped agents fund-raise over half a million pounds and we are looking forward to supporting agents again this year.”
Requests should be made via the registration form on the Agents Giving website. To apply for a grant you must be fundraising for UK registered charities.
