Connells has said that it is planning further branch openings next year.

The business has confirmed three office closures, but these were all attached to main town centre branches and were specifically opened to support new-build developments.

They were in its central region at Chase Meadow, Warwick; Hanwell Fields, Banbury; and Milton Keynes North.

A spokesperson for Connells said it had been a commercial decision, adding: “There will be no redundancies – all staff are retained in the same roles in the close network and Connells remains committed to growing its branch network, with further branch openings planned for its central region including an Upton branch early next year.”

Connells this autumn closed its online agency operation, Hatched, saying the business model was unviable.
