Winkworth has appointed a new head of lettings and merged its corporate and client services departments, as it gets close to becoming a business split evenly between sales and lettings.
Claudia Green, who previously was head of the corporate services team, has been moved to the newly created role of head of lettings.
Rather than replacing her old role, her team will be merged with the client services department headed by Max White.
A spokesman told EYE that this was done as the departments “sit well together”.
In her new role, Green’s remit is to support demand from lettings clients, as well as offering guidance to Winkworth offices and supporting them through the numerous legislative changes in the sector.
Dominic Agace, chief executive of Winkworth, said: “Having only joined us two years ago, Claudia has quickly established herself as a lettings expert within our company and I couldn’t think of anyone better suited to this new role to help take forward Winkworth’s letting division.
“We’re now closer than ever to hitting one of our long-term goals of achieving a 50:50 sales to lettings business ratio and, with many changes coming up within the industry, it’s vital for us to build on the solid support framework we have in place for our offices when they need it.
“Along with our new central services department, these changes should result in a more seamless overall offering for our franchisees, which is something we are constantly working to evolve and improve on.”
This isn’t newsworthy
