Industry consultant and trainer Michael Day has joined the board of Glanty, parent company of proptech firm teclet.
Day, of Integra Property Services, has been advising teclet for the last year.
The service is an online platform that enables agents to automate as much or as little of the lettings and management process as they wish, while retaining existing supplier relationships.
The platform provides 24/7 access to agents, landlords and tenants, and also provides agents with potential new revenue streams.
Alan Blockley, CEO of Glanty, said: “We are delighted to welcome Michael to the board.
“Michael has successfully worked with us at teclet for the last year and it was the unanimous decision of our board to bring him ‘into the fold’ and to be able to benefit even more closely from his vast experience and knowledge of the industry, its people and business in general.
“We look forward to a long and successful future together.”
Day said: “I am delighted to be joining Glanty.
“Having worked with the teclet team over the last year or so in a supplier/client relationship, I am immensely impressed by the teclet offering.
“My business works with hundreds of sales and lettings agents and shall continue to do so.
“We are seeing challenging times at the moment and agents need to re-plan and reorganise their businesses to mitigate or remove threats whilst also maximising the opportunities that exist.”
Congratulations Michael – I know nothing about the business you have joined but if they are in need of advice from an experienced agent, they couldn’t have chosen better!

Does this mean he will stop spamming us with his ‘Communique’s’ Stand by for those who have used his services for the Glanty sales pitch

Obviously I don’t know who you are but I would make the following comments.
Any newsletter or notification I issue has an unsubscribe button so please feel free to use it.
As my 700+ clients know (and I am always very clear about) I am completely transparent about any relationships/potential conflicts of interest in my work and, my position with Glanty/teclet is very clear and transparent.
I am not a “paid for” salesman for any third parties.
Merry Xmas!
