Ex-lettings agency boss admits further charge of stealing from landlords and tenants

The former owner of a lettings agency, Heather Crabb, has admitted charges of fraud, false accounting and theft.

Crabb, 51, who owned Drake Homes in Plymouth, appeared at Plymouth Crown Court on Friday afternoon last week.

She admitted two fraud charges and two of theft.  She also admitted a separate fraud charge along with stealing stealing from landlords and tenants.

Former company director of Drake had pleaded guilty to a joint charge false accounting and fraud at an earlier hearing.

The offences happened between March 2013 and April 2016. The two had previously denied the charges.

Crabb  also admitted a separate fraud charge along with stealing stealing from landlords and tenants.

There are now to be discussions with the authorities on the sums involved, and the women are next due in court on November 14.

Crabb had been accused of stealing £91,627 from tenants and £129,368 from landlords.

She was granted unconditional bail. Drake Homes closed in September 2016.
