Twelve-branch agency signs up to OnTheMarket

OnTheMarket has announce that Robert Oulsnam and Company, a 12-branch estate and lettings agency firm, is now listing its properties with it.

Founded in 1971, Robert Oulsnam and Company has offices in the west midlands, Worcestershire and south Birmingham.

Andrew Oulsnam, director, said: “We are very pleased to have joined OnTheMarket after watching it grow significantly in recent months.

“By marketing our properties on this extra platform, we will increase exposure for our clients’ properties and estate agent offices. We look forward to seeing this agent-backed portal progress further within the marketplace.”

“Helen Whiteley, commercial director at OTM, said: “Robert Oulsnam and Company is a long-established agent with an excellent reputation and we are delighted they have joined OnTheMarket at this very exciting time.

“More than 10,000 agent offices are now contracted with OnTheMarket, which we believe is approximately 54% of UK residential estate and lettings agency branches.

“The portal now carries over 570,000 UK residential properties, well in excess of half the total market.”

OTM is currently boosting membership largely by offering free listings.

Well done guys. Welcome but be aware of the Wrongmove and Hoopla drones out there with lots of negative spin.

OTM is working very nicely for us and we are paying full wack!

The problem is due to any lack of a plan is that onthemarket is just a bad zoopla. Rightmove still win. Ever seen a slow motion car crash? This ones taken 2 years so far.

I don’t see it as a car crash Bless You.

The car was garaged for a while whilst the Zoopla backed Connells case tried to drain all the oil out of it but now, with a few mods, it’s back on the road with Duopolis as the destination in the sat nav.

OTM working well for us (we’re paying full rate too) and yes I know they’ve been giving it away to get bums on seats but you know what, Zoopla in its original guise did exactly the same and it didn’t do them any harm.

Wondering when Z will re-employ all the trolls who are back watching Jeremy Kyle with Pot Noodle to hand at the moment . Or maybe they’ll keep their heads down as RM seem to be the Aunt Sally at the moment. Maybe Z could pass their contact details over RM? Oh no, that wouldn’t work under GDPRs would it.

We used to be on zoopla for £350 . Now on rightmove for £1000.

Your on both paying £1500.. maybe some agents have to much cash to waste. We don’t.

Maybe agents should ditch rightmove for 3 months and all the money go to charity.. would get a lot of press.

This is just like trying to promote MSN and Yahoo when everyone uses Google, just can’t see it happening
