It’s a three-bedroom semi on the Wirral.
But even Eye, who has a well-known problem with maths, can see that it’s probably not worth £1.45m – although we do know how easy it is to get mixed up over commas and noughts, not to mention decimal points.
But perhaps £145,000 is nearer the mark?

Oh for heaven's sake – stick to getting off on all the AM/Online stuff if it floats your boat but don't knock a bit of light relief for the masses – it keeps the rest of us sane!

1.00pm – AND IT'S STILL THERE!! (note – NOT an echo…) I'd better ring them – after all I've given easy Chris plenty of heads up with woeful descriptive errors on that site…. ;o)

erm… hang on… just noticed that the property was originally listed at the £1.45 mill price… FIVE MONTHS AGO! Maybe I'll not bother ringing them after all. I'd hate to wake them from their deep slumber… ;o)

2 pm still there, maybe they are going for the local price record, I would be embarrased to put in a sensible offer knowing i would be about 1m under asking price.Though i would get 1000 pounds cash back which is blinking awesome.
My mother would beam with joy knowing i purchased my 1st million pound property.
Though i do feel, the paltry cashback of 1000, in this special circumstance is a tad paltry, maybe 100 grand might soothe the pain.
Would i need to see the financial advisor for them so meet that condition?

The stamp duty is 5 percent on this property, It really worries me that i would be spending 72,500 pounds, would the vendor consider paying the stamp duty? I spoke with my fiscal advisor , her concern is my tax declaration for the year.
London property prices are looking somewhat tame against this stunning urban wirral gem, the Socialites of the UK are in uproar, Sloane Square in London,is considering a civil war! hmmm

This will greatly affect Rightmove stats, it really is a problem, how can anyone have the skills to gain a 1 million pound reduction, they must be the master of negotiatators. I do however wonder how the client took the fateful news of the need for a 1 million pound price drop.
This i fear will now cause a bubonic bidding war as Bert & Ethel thinking they are seeing an incredible bargain.
I do however wonder, how the branch manager, explains this 5 month error to his boss?
If i had a crystal ball, i feel a p45 and a massive slice of humble pie heading their way!

Ahhh… there – a mere FIVE MONTHS into the marketing and they've finally realised (thanks, probably, to a million phone calls from what they think are hyenas on the other end of the phone… ;o) ) that the price on RM was a tad if not a smidgen incorrect. Champion. Job done. All done and dusted. We don't want our colleagues in industry laughed at due to perceived incompetence, do we? WELL… let's just say that little overhanging matter depends on how long it takes them to amend the ZOOPLA listing… ;o) ;o) ) http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/33227221#uEQFed8w0eoW6BG3.97

Well, ravey… how's about maybe the fact that it is still at the higher price on THE COMPANY website counts as further chuckle fuel…? It just beggars belief, doesn't it! Know what – FOR ONCE, I could almost agree with those AllAgents chappies… and I never thought I'd find myself typing THOSE words… ;o)

Oh, ravey – "what next", you ask. Well, I suggest that you read the property description!! There is simply NO MORE LEFT to give, once you've read it, I am now complete. I have, literally, seen everything. The complete, unabridged works of "How NOT To…" in one neatly bound edition. ;o)

Awww… the fun kinda stops here, I'm afraid – or at least stalls a bit…'cos they've REMOVED the property from the portals!!

…I say "stalls" – because don't worry – all is not lost… in true Ealing comedic fashion it's STILL ON their own website!! Here you go, folks… Carry on Laughing… ;o) http://www.jonesandchapman.co.uk/houses-for-sale/property-details?r=MOR105754&src=1&searchType=buy&geographyName=ch49&radius=0.0&includeSSTC=0

HAH! it's now after 1pm, and they have FINALLY twigged that the price on their own website was a mere 900% inflated, and it's now showing at the "correct" (time will tell on even that figure…) asking price. BUT… for those still wanting to press their chuckle buttons, the property description is unchanged and I recommend all read and digest – as I said before, a true lesson in "How NOT to…". Here's a wee taster – just to whet your appetites – from LINE TWO so you don't even need to scan down reams of spibble… "The Property briefly compromises entrance hall…"! I love it! Only two sentences later you are treated to "…much craved off road parking." But don't stop there – keep reading. The best is there for your delectation, rumination and digestion in the main body… ENJOY! ;o)

I must say I have been in absolute fits of laughter, I would love to be a fly on the wall at the managers meeting. As they sit around a huge white board and discuss commas, numbers and general usage of spell check and grammar check.
I wonder if Barry Chuckle is branch manager?
