Keller Williams, the US-based property franchising giant, says it is making “steady progress” after launching into the UK last month.
A spokesperson says that the brand will be opening eight market centres (estate agency offices) early next year.
In addition, it is going through a list of some 40 applicants who have expressed interest in opening offices next year.
The spokesperson said: “Some of these will drop out as we finalise our application and selection process.
“Our property advisors (estate agents) on the ground are taking listings and we have completed our first deals.
“Our senior team are very keen to point out that we offer a very high level of service and that in this very fragmented UK market we are seeking to carve out a niche for ourselves.”
The eight new offices will open in London, Sussex, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Scotland.
Keller Williams’s initial office in Buckingham Palace Road, London, was yesterday listing ten properties for sale on Rightmove.
Altogether the business has 90,000 estate agents operating in over 700 offices across the globe. It claims to be the largest real estate franchise in North America.
90K agents working out of 700 offices, blimey they must be big offices. But then in US nearly every Tom **** and Marry is an agent working from home – part time.
