Property entrepreneur Faisal Butt and ex-Dragon James Caan are backing a new company, Quoinstone Investment Management, which plans to build a portfolio of properties.
Butt’s investment management vehicle Spire Ventures is leading the investment in Quoinstone which will predominantly focus on offices in both London and the regions.
Quoinstone says that office supply has been “starved” because of the number of conversions to residential through permitted development rights.
Quoinstone is led by Tim Struth and Steve Howling, who have both previously worked at Savills.
The pair are looking for further investment from both domestic and overseas purchasers.
Butt also heads up Pi Labs which supports new property start-ups. He is also a director of Emoov.
