An estate agency is looking for people to move to Dubai to work, saying they stand to earn between £75,000 and £200,000 tax-free – and need have no estate agency experience.
Allsopp & Allsopp, headquartered in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, say applicants only need an “amazing personality” and the ability to sell.
It is looking for candidates who “turn up and own the room”. The only paper qualification they need is a UK driving licence.
The call comes amid controversy as to how much experience online firms look for in recruiting local estate agents.
Allsopp & Allsopp says it recruits qualified agents throughout the year, but also holds annual recruitment events to try and find people they wouldn’t employ otherwise.
The company, which has operations in both the UK and Dubai, is holding a recruitment event on Tuesday, November 14, at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool, from 5pm until 9pm.

EYE would be interested in hearing from UK agents who have worked, or are working, in Dubai. Did it, or does it, work for you? What would your advice be?
