They went down 9.17%, ending the day at 109p but at one stage touching 105p – close to the launch price last December of 100p.

By contrast, Countrywide yesterday finished over 6% up, at 190.40p.
The Bricks -9591 instructions as of today .The 10,000 barrier was in sight in August but has now faded away and it looks as if a ceiling has been hit well short of the levels required to hit profit. The Lettings side hasnt kicked off at all with a miserly 394 instructions
Looks like another cash call on the horizon. The next few days will be interesting on the exchanges to see whether the deep pockets of the founding fathers will intervene to shore up the price or whether this cliff falls
CWD a short raly methinks How are they ever going to eat into that £300m+ debtpile. They just sold the last of the family silver with the Zoopla shares All that expensively bought turnover from gobbling up other practices which has a habit of disappearing out the back door especially when you close offices

Quick…this is awful, we need to start PurpleAID for the Purpleones. On today’s price, the company is only worth £267m down from £330m earlier this year. How could the stock market do that to a company with 1 HQ and lots of virtual estate agents, a tv ad and a big loss!

Don’t suppose the owners are ‘bricking it’ because they will have made their money by now surely…even if it were to implode.
Anybody out there want to join up to form ‘Intergalactic homes’. I have this plan to use black holes to conquer the universe of property sales. We cant lose…because we will be bigger and more far reaching than anyone else. We just need some believers/backers and a cunning exit strategy before before the black holes outnumber the properties. Simples.
