A former NAEA president, Simon Gerrard, is to join the board of referencing and insurance firm Let Alliance.
Gerrard, who is managing director of north London agent Martyn Gerrard, said: “Having worked closely with Let Alliance for the past four years, I am confident that they will continue to do everything they can to minimise risk for agents, landlords and tenants.
“As a board member, I will help Let Alliance to enhance their services and ensure they keep focused on delivering cost-effective referencing and insurance services to tenants and landlords through quality agents.”
Let Alliance, which exclusively through letting agents, is headed by Andy Halstead who said: “Simon Gerrard’s impressive property pedigree will help us to understand the risks and problems faced by agents, landlords and tenants, and insure against them.
“His expertise will help us continue to identify new risk trends and uncertainties as soon as they arise, so that we can create new, innovative products and services to continue to de-risk lettings and adding value to our customers’ businesses.”
Let Alliance has also announced a partnership with Belvoir which has been rolled out to over 175 offices. The bespoke deal includes Right to Rent checks.
