Estate agency recruitment specialist Rayner Personnel has announced the award of its seventh licence to Ian Hoskins, formerly Spicerhaart managing partner for London.
He will primarily cover the east of England, including Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
Hoskins said: “Rayner Personnel is a business with a reputation for recruiting top talent across the property industry. I personally used their services and was impressed.”
Hoskins has enjoyed a business career spanning a quarter of a century in which he has chalked up experience in estate agency, financial services and retail telecoms.
In his most recent role Hoskins was responsible for a £25m budget, some 60 branches and 300 people.
He said: “I’ve employed numerous salespeople and managers over the years and felt it was the right time to be my own boss.
“The majority of people typically change jobs, not because of money but because they don’t enjoy working for their line manager – they feel unappreciated and unable to progress in their career.”
At Spicerhaart he was part of a team that earlier this year raised £75,000 for the charity Magic Moments by cycling 300 miles from Cardiff to Colchester in three days.
The latest Rayner Personnel office will open its doors in September this year and until then Hoskins will work out of the firm’s Bishops Stortford head office.
It will be the seventh opening in less than a year for Joshua Rayner, founder of Rayner Personnel, and takes him one step closer to his goal of providing a nationwide recruitment service.
