A new qualification has been launched by NFoPP relating to tenancy deposits and how they should be protected and managed.

The course, aimed at anyone working for letting agents or inventory firms, will deal with legal aspects, the return of deposits and dispute resolution.

Steve Harriott, chief executive of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, welcomed the launch: “We want to encourage as many staff as possible to take up this new qualification and to assist us in raising standards in the lettings industry.”
