The Property Software Group has launched a new product, My Property File, which aims to redefine the way that letting agents, tenants and landlords engage.
It allows users to report and track maintenance issues, view important documents online and keep each other informed with notifications and messaging.
It will be included to agents within The Property Software Group’s software subscriptions at no extra cost.
CEO Mark Goddard said: “With the ongoing shift in the UK towards renting, slicker tools to aid complicated and labour-intensive processes are vital for all of our clients.
“This service will be fully online and integrated into the agent’s current software systems, meaning an instant real-time feed of essential data is shared between all parties. The service will also be mobile accessible, via a web portal and mobile app. “
The service, which is currently live in Jupix, will start to roll out across all Jupix users very shortly, with the aim to have My Property File available to all PSG users within the next six months.
PSG’s brand portfolio includes Alto, Jupix, CFP, Vebra, Encore and MoveIT.
‘Redefine’ is that the right word given, from this scant description, it’s a combination of Landlords on line from the very early noughties and a copy Fixflo which has to be given genuine credit for redefining the way works orders and maintenance management is reported.

About time too
The fewer add ones and separate systems we have to employ and pay for, the better

All the emerged and emerging proptech products exist because of the delays and issues attempting to combine 4 legacy products into a single system that itself is one generation of technology behind what’s is being developed by the industry innovators.

You can whack the dislike button as much as you like it doesn’t alter the perception of the products or those people who are now caught in their own spotlight to deliver a product that wasn’t innovated by someone else.

PSG
Just a suggestion –
how’s about, instead of launching yet another wiz-bang widget to attach to your systems within the next six months, you actually get those systems to do what they are supposed to do, when they are supposed to do it within that timescale instead?
I mean – it’s not like you haven’t had enough time already…

103 ‘Dislikes’?
WOW – I didn’t think you could have a hand free long enough to push the button that number of times.
Still – I guess it’s akin to therapy from what must be crippling RSI pains…

Here’s the irony – in 112 presses of a button you could have done something productive – like at least started a debate as to why you ‘Dislike’ my comment – or me, even.
Instead – you just look like an insane bunny-boiling wassock and the considerable effort you have expended to press, press and press away is totally wasted.
But if that’s what lights your fire – then you just burn away, sunshine.

PSG lead the market industry for property software and this Robert fella sounds like an old disgruntled employee who got his knickers in a twist for getting the sack… Or maybe just maybe he left because he didn’t like a Compnay take over. That’s right Robert, I can find you on the internet. Soget a life and stop slagging off a company you used to work for because you didn’t have the guts to stick with them and become one of the best property software houses in the UK.
Instead of having a vendetta against an company … Maybe you should prove you can do better….;-)

“PSG lead the market industry for property software and this Robert fella sounds like…”
And on the subject of “sounds like” – I hope PSG pay you well for defending them in the lowest form there is of overcoming objections – muckspreading.
It’s not clever and it stinks of raging anger over the truth hurting causing a junior exec to kneejerk this response out.
As my teacher loved to say – “I expect better with your next effort”.

Really…Muckspreading and paid by PSG!? I don’t work for PSG
, I am a director of company who have used many software houses programs to market my portfolios. I just dislike the fact that this Robert May … Who you can find on various sites… Is bad mouthing a company he used to work for. It’s in bad taste. This brings me to you peebee, all your comments are so negative yet you have been approached by someone from PSG to help. Even in negativity PSG continue to go forward and help. If you don’t like the product or indeed the company that’s fine as we are all entitled to an opinion but bad mouthing them in this manner is just plain ridiculous.
Freedom of speech gives us all the rights to do so and I find myself here defending a company I don’t even work for! The reason is simple. We can all go around bad mouthing old companies we used to work for because we didn’t like there ethics or new rules but as I state if you can do better prove it. Your teacher was right to say that to you. I do expect better from you peebee.
End.

“Really…Muckspreading and paid by PSG!? I don’t work for PSG”
We will have to take your word for that. My nose may be having an off-day.
There’s a first time for everything, I suppose…
“…all your comments are so negative yet you have been approached by someone from PSG to help.”
Yeah – funny how “someone from PSG” always manages to jump on these threads to firefight, innit?
Do you REALLY think we swallow the MDT that PSG aren’t aware of the shortcomings of their product? It’s been out there for over TWO YEARS. It STILL has issues that MY STAFF face daily. Others have stated on here that when in contact with the company they are told ‘we are not aware of anyone else experiencing difficulties’. ******** they aren’t.
Sorry – but it ain’t my job to sort their problems out.
“I do expect better from you peebee.”
Therefore reinforcing the old truism that ‘the differential between expectation and reality equals disappointment’, dunnit?
I ain’t here for your enjoyment, or to meet your expectations.
You’d better get used to that reality. Pronto. ;o)

Truthspeaker12 pick up the phone and find out why I resigned from a firm I had built up and why both staff and customers still telephone me for advice.
Possibly you need to understand a little more than you are being told or have decided for yourself and before defending something you possibly don’t properly understand.
Sometimes the brave thing is to leave, irrespective of the cost.
For the record I resigned, took a year off, then helped Jupix develop the software and internal systems that meant PSG had to buy that in order to halt the exodus of customers and staff away from PSG. I’ve already proved I can do better but be assured I haven’t finished yet and will not finish until people like you are embarrassed by their naivety.

Robert,
It just seems you have a personal vendetta against this company PSG, sure I dont know why you left that company (well now i do) but why lash out? Why hold on to all this bitterness. If you have proven your self with Jupix, (Which I use by the way 😉 ) then why not just leave it at that.
If PSG really are in this much trouble, which I have no proof for or against, then I’m sure that the multitude of customers they have including PeeBee would have changed software provider by now.
Anyway, I’m bored of this now. I left behind playground squabbles some 30 years ago. I grew up.
Lets just see what happens shall we. That will be the proof.
End.

You have no comprehension of what motivates me yet without knowing any facts are prepared to decide I’m the one in the wrong.
This has not ended and will not end till I decide it’s over and justice is properly served.
