Dates for the diary: These are your don’t-miss industry events

This  year’s ARLA conference will be at London’s largest venue for the first time, on April 12 at ExCeL.

There is currently no central London venue offering the space or facilities that ARLA now needs for its over-subscribed annual event.

It offers an interesting agenda, the usual motivational speakers, and lots of opportunity for networking.

CPD points for members are a further plus, and lunch is usually pretty good. There is an attached exhibition.

The Landlord Law Conference, organised by Tessa Shepperson and sponsored by EYE, also has a new venue, and takes place for the first time in Manchester on May 12.

The agenda looks exceptional, offering essential advice and updates on a variety of topics. Unmissable for any agent wanting to know what is what on the legal front.

Despite its title, it is every bit as much aimed at letting and managing agents as at landlords.
