Two key people are leaving Countrywide.
They are group chief information officer Oliver Skagerlind and highly regarded public relations manager Christine Webb.
Skagerlind joined in 2011 from Royal Bank of Scotland. His CV includes stints at Carphone Warehouse, Centrica and American Express. His departure is said to be at the end of March.
Webb joined three and a half years ago from Connells where she was group PR executive. She left Countrywide on Friday.
Their departures follow a string of others, and a wide-ranging restructure by chief executive Alison Platt. Countrywide chairman Grenville Turner himself is reportedly quitting amid rumours of boardroom tension.
A spokesperson said that Webb’s departure was not sudden and that she wanted to go into an agency, having been an in-house PR for a while.
The spokesperson added: “After five years, Oliver Skagerlind decided it is time to move on and explore new opportunities and will leave the group on March 31. We wish Oliver all the very best for the future.”
