NeedAProperty slashes rates by half as it mounts challenge to big two

NeedAProperty has launched a 50% discount deal for this month.

The normal annual subscription is £1,800, meaning that with the half-price offer it works out to £75 per month per branch.

Scott Green, founder and CEO, said: “We are delighted with the success of the portal since the launch and we have had very positive feedback from estate agents nationwide, many of whom are looking for a more cost-effective return on their investment.

“We are delighted to be able to offer a comprehensive alternative at a fraction on the cost of our competitors.

“This has been well received within the industry and now we are going even further to help agents with this offer.”

The site has also announced that it has promoted Corinne Sugar, pictured, to UK sales director. She was previously strategic director.

£1800 a year is WAY to much for a portal that seems to bring in leads (Going by previous comments on this portal). Even £900 is too much! After all its just a listing website.

Typo, i meant to say that does not bring in leads. Espresso needed.

Exactly Paull… if they want to compete then do so by offering a greater return rather than a smaller stake.

@ NeedaProperty – how about a free trial? If you produce results, many will no doubt consider signing up…

They already offer a 3 month free trial that, invariably, they will extend.

Thanks TPS. Just been looking around their website where I cannot find details of any free trial, nor for that matter what their charges are. I got bored now and stop looking… They should make this information more readily available.

Best to do it for free, then when leads start coming in and the site grows and proves to work then you can start charging, agents pay RM a fortune because it does work.

Funnily enough, gave notice to NaP this morning (to end free trial). One enquiry in 2 1/2 months doesn't cut it. Let's see what they come back with.

We do the same every 2 1/2 months and have now been on their free trial for just shy of 9 months.

Enquiry levels are diabolical, especially when compared to RM & Zoopla.
