Company car of the week: Agent admits he’s an Alfaholic

Here’s another great Company Car of the Week.

It’s a 1972 (the same age as its owner Jamie Wheatley) Alfa Romeo GT Junior.

Wheatley, of Martin and Wheatley in Weybridge, Surrey, says: “I’ve had a succession of Alfas and this one has been with me for six years.

“It regularly comes to work with me and can been seen doing viewings around the private estates in Surrey.

“It’s logo’d up with our company ampersand in a roundel. It is neatly put on a magnetic back so that I can take it off if I don’t want the company advertising.

“I’m not sure how the magnet sticks as there’s probably more filler than metal on the car…

“I am a self-confessed petrolhead and Alfaholic, loving all sorts of classic and performance cars but particularly Alfas.

“’It’s my father’s fault – he always had them in the 70s and I’ve been in love ever since.

“My wife also has a classic Morris Minor convertible which has been known to wear the Martin and Wheatley logo on its sides to a few sponsored events.”

Who could have thought that estate agents’ company cars could have been such a goer on this site!
