Another win for Fixflo as two more deposit schemes accept evidence

Two more tenancy deposit schemes have integrated with repairs software provider Fixflo.

They are the Property Redress Scheme and mydeposits.

The latest tie-ups follow similar arrangements with The Property Ombudsman and with The Dispute Service.

The arrangements allow Fixflo’s agent clients to send time and date-stamped audit histories of repairs directly to the relevant dispute resolution teams.

Sean Hooker, head of redress at the Property Redress Scheme, said: “We have a shared interest with Fixflo in raising standards in the property sector.

“We now have over 4,000 members and nearly 10% of our complaints relate purely to repair issues so for agents to have a robust system in place for repair requests to be reported and monitored is something I fully support.”

Suzy Hershman, head of dispute resolution at mydeposits, said: “Our dispute service is evidence based and written evidence provided by our members is critical to resolve disputes fairly.

“If an agent is using Fixflo and providing independently verified time and date-stamped records which are shared by both the letting agent and the tenant, it makes our job so much easier.

“It also helps to ensure our members provide robust, quality evidence.”

It makes common sense that repairs track by dispute and deposit handlers. Well done Fixflo.

A good example of when new tech really is making a difference., compared to so many budget models wanting £m’s to simply place a home at a budget fee on RM & Z.
