We’re intrigued. Where have all the garages gone?

According to Sainsbury’s Car Insurance, almost 4m garages have been “re-purposed” over the last 20 years.

Some garages have become workshops, others offices, bedrooms, playrooms, or extensions of kitchens or living space.

The result is that most people now have nowhere to put their cars, other than on their drives or the street.

Estate agents must be better qualified than anyone to say how true this is.
