Former rugby star Matt Dawson has been announced as the keynote speaker and awards presenter at next month’s EA Live event and Estate Agency of the Year bash.
The multi-talented Dawson is a team captain on the long-running BBC quiz show A Question of Sport.
He also won Celebrity MasterChef and came second in Strictly Come Dancing (he was beaten by cricketer Mark Ramprakash). Dawson is also involved with a number of charities.
Dawson was part of the England rugby squad that took the country to victory in the 2003 World Cup (things are a bit different now).
With 77 caps under his belt, he is England’s most capped scrum half, captaining the side nine times.
During the 1998 tour to Australia and New Zealand – ‘The Tour from Hell’ – he was congratulated on his leadership.
He probably has some interesting things to say, both about rugby and leadership.
Other speakers at the December 4 event include Wendy Alexander, David Smith, Iain Kennedy, Nathan Emerson and Nicky Stevenson.
More information at propertyacademy.co.uk or call the Estate Agency Events team on 01372 370847.
Should be good, I’m sure he’ll be a really interesting speaker.
