Our very sincere condolences go out to staff at Andrew Grant estate agents in Worcester who have lost a much-loved and very special colleague.
Partner Simon Mountjoy, who had worked for the firm for ten years and was in his 40s, has died suddenly.
Police have confirmed that his body was found in woodland on Monday.
Andrew Grant paid tribute, saying: “It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the sad loss of our country homes manager and partner Simon Mountjoy.
“Simon had been away following his recent illness for a while and returned last week. He seemed to be back to his normal happy self.
“I am sure many of you who knew him knew that he had a very cheerful personality and was always ready for a good laugh. He was enthusiastic, business-wise very good, had an excellent bedside manner and was very good at his job. He was a top lister.
“He loved his hunting, loved people and all things were met with enthusiasm, fun and laughter.
“When Simon was about laughter was not far away. He was a good and trusting person and a true gentleman.
“Our thoughts go out to his two lovely children, Henry and Jessica, his parents and brothers. I suspect Simon was more sensitive than any of us knew.
“We shall all miss him. All of our office this morning paid our respects to him with a minute’s silence followed by the prayer of Our Father.
“May he rest in peace.”
The coroner has been informed.
