A new online estate agency promising “a revolutionary new concept” is recruiting agents throughout England and Wales.
Moverr.co.uk, which looks to have a business model similar to that of Purplebricks, is offering commission-only deals up to 100% to agents wanting to “become the local property expert in your area”.
In its recruitment brochure, the company offers earnings of £1,000-plus per week, together with low set-up fees and low ongoing costs.
Moverr.co.uk, founded by Simeon Miighty, will give its agents use of DocInn.co.uk, which tracks property transactions online, and Commsplit.co.uk, which claims to help agents win listings.
Miighty himself launched both applications.
Agents will be able to upload properties to Moverr.co.uk as well as Rightmove and Zoopla, and earn referral fees from premium property listings.
Referral money is also on offer from tenant admin fees, insurance, EPCs, inventories, gas safety certificates, mortgages and conveyancing.
Miighty told Eye that his new venture is backed by a consortium of private investors.
He said that agents would be able to earn up to 100% commission through a performance-related structure.
He conceded that Purplebricks and Moverr have similar business models but, he emphasised, also “many differences”.
He said he is not concerned that the online agency space seems to be getting very crowded.
He said: “Although we are perceived to be an online agency, we provide a traditional high street service, whereby a Moverr property agent provides a face to face service. We don’t advertise private listings and don’t support this model.
“In terms of competition, we live in a world of choice and those that provide a quality service will rise to the top.
“We see online as the future. Why? It’s a well-known fact that 93% of property searches start online, and although we believe in providing a traditional service, with accompanied viewings, advice, etc, only a select few and strong high street agents will survive by continuing in the same fashion. Most won’t.
“Just think back to the number of high street travel agents. Where are they now?”
Asked about his ambitions for the business, Miighty said: “I want to evolve the way the properties are transacted. By seamlessly connecting vendors and landlords to buyers and tenants through our platform, we make properties more accessible, opening up more possibilities for vendors and landlords, and more business for property agents.”
They say docinn works with Northwood, Bevoir, YourMove and more, I bet they wont be too happy about the online agency, looks like they are funding it indirectly.

The above property does not even exist on the road they claim in Fulham. Looking at the very optimistic rents advertised on other properties currently listed I would also question their authenticity.
If only moverr conformed to the website owners own words on another networking platform 'we have a duty to provide a service based on real ethics, transparency and professionalism.' (Miighty 2011)

Any chance of bumping the property Idex story back onto the front page Ros? now you are updating stories daily the interesting ones with comment streams are disappearing too quickly. Mr Smith was doing quite well in the face of a Wilko/Peebee grilling but slipping from page one has let him off the hook just as he was catching our attention. I am sure Agents would far rather read that comment stream as it develops than another online vendor champion agency story
I bet you wish you had a £ for every 'revolutionary new concept' PR story you have been sent.

"Mr Smith was doing quite well in the face of a Wilko/Peebee grilling but slipping from page one has let him off the hook just as he was catching our attention."
Now then, Ampersat – surely it was YOUR and wilko's 'grilling' that made Mr Smith "do a 180" and go AWOL.
He never actually responded to my gentle prod. I feel quite left out so as a result I'll just have to concentrate on our resident fruitloop… 😉

I wonder if there is any chance that, similar to social media sites, we could receive an email when there is a response to a comment made on a thread we contribute to? It means we can continue the conversation when stories do start getting bumped off the front page.
The comments and discussions on here are excellent and it would be great to be notified when others contribute so we can respond in kind.
