The House Group appoints lettings manager

Tom Smith

The House Group has appointed Tom Smith as lettings manager as the agency expands its presence in the rental market.

The appointment follows the launch of a dedicated lettings service by the firm, which operates across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Hampshire.

Founded by Ross Sutton following a 25-year career in estate agency, The House Group has steadily broadened its offering in recent years, adding property auctions and, most recently, a standalone lettings division.

Smith brings more than 15 years’ experience in residential lettings and property management across Swindon and the surrounding area. He will lead the development of the new department as the company looks to grow its lettings portfolio alongside its existing sales operation.

Smith said: “Throughout my career, I’ve always believed that people work with people. It’s never been about ticking boxes; it’s about honest conversations, building relationships and being there when clients need you.

“The House Group has a modern approach, good people and a genuine focus on service. It felt like the right fit for me, and I’m looking forward to helping grow the business.”

The lettings service will offer three levels of support – Introduction Only, Rent Collection and Full Management. The company said the service has been designed with compliance requirements under the Renters’ Rights Act in mind.

Sutton added: “The launch of lettings is a natural extension of our business and broadens the services we can offer to clients across the region.”

Tessa Teichmann joins House. Partnership
Tessa Teichmann

House. Partnership has appointed Tessa Teichmann as regional partner for lettings, covering Hampshire, Farnham and the surrounding villages.

Teichmann joined the business in June 2026, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in residential lettings and property management.

She began her career with Jackson-Stops in Wimbledon Village before moving to Savills in Parsons Green. During her time at Savills, she progressed to become lettings manager for the firm’s Wimbledon and Putney offices.

After more than six years with Savills, Teichmann joined Knight Frank’s Sloane Avenue office, where she continued to work in the London residential lettings market.

She later relocated to Surrey and took up the role of director of residential lettings at Sotheby’s International Realty in Cobham. Having settled in Farnham, she has since focused her career on the local property market.

In her new role, Teichmann will oversee lettings activity across Hampshire, Farnham and the surrounding area as House. Partnership continues to expand its regional presence.

Partridge Homes strengthens team ahead of block management launch

Nicola Hall

West Midlands-based letting agency Partridge Homes has appointed two experienced property professionals as it prepares to launch a new block management division later this year.

Nicola Hall joins the business after 21 years with Scanlans Property Management, where she specialised in block management, while Sarah Bannister arrives from Martin & Co Solihull, bringing experience in residential lettings.

The appointments come as the family-run agency, which operates from offices in Solihull and Yardley, expands its service offering and joins Propertymark.

Partridge Homes said its new block management division is expected to begin operating this autumn, targeting growing demand from freeholders and leaseholders for property management services.

Sarah Bannister

The firm currently manages more than 500 properties across Birmingham, Solihull and the surrounding areas.

Charlotte Partridge, managing director, said: “For Nici and Sarah, with their wealth of experience, to choose to join our family business over a number of much larger corporate firms makes us incredibly proud.
“Since Partridge Homes was established nearly 20 years ago, we have grown steadily by sticking to the simple strategy of sourcing great tenants and great landlords and keeping both happy.
“Sarah and Nici will be key to continuing this winning formula, including with the launch of our new block management division later this year.”
