Almost 2,000 agents gather for Propertymark One

Almost 2,000 property professionals gathered for Propertymark One on Friday as agents, policymakers and industry leaders came together to debate the key issues facing the sector.

The conference provided delegates with direct access to politicians, regulators and market experts, offering insight into the policies and legislative changes set to shape the future of the housing market.

One of the headline sessions featured deputy prime minister and housing secretary Angela Rayner, who faced questions from attendees on a range of issues affecting agents, landlords, tenants and the wider property industry. The session formed part of Propertymark’s ongoing efforts to ensure the concerns of property professionals are heard directly by decision-makers.

Throughout the day, delegates attended sessions covering housing policy, regulation, market trends, consumer expectations and business growth, while a busy exhibition and networking programme provided opportunities for industry professionals to exchange ideas and discuss the challenges facing the sector.

Propertymark said the event was designed to strengthen engagement between the profession and policymakers, enabling agents to hear directly from those shaping housing policy while gaining practical insight into the changing market landscape.

Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, said: “Propertymark One is about giving property professionals direct access to the people, policies and perspectives that influence their businesses every day. We are proud to provide a platform where important conversations can take place, where questions can be asked openly, and where our members can hear directly from policymakers and industry leaders.”

“The quality of discussion throughout the day, combined with the expertise shared by our speakers, made this a hugely valuable event for everyone who attended,” he added.

Despite many objecting to the participation of Angela Rayner it seems to have been very well attended, and a success?
